FOCUS at Minnesota State!

The Fellowship of Catholic University Students, FOCUS, has arrived at Mankato, MN, home of the Catholic Mavs!  Working along side the St. Thomas Moor Newman Center, we are tirelessly finding new ways of reaching out to students on campus.  The Mankato FOCUS team is made up of four of driven individuals.  Kyle Jaegar fearlessly leads the team ahead.  Amy Dyrness, in veteran status, guides with her priceless experience.  Robert Keller, brings to the table extensive knowledge in philosophy.  And I, Peggy Tondo, hope to share Christ’s love and His gift of art with the students. 

In light of the mission FOCUS shares life with students on campus and most importantly the Gospel!  FOCUS is a nationwide Catholic outreach challenging college students to live their faith daily.  We do this by spending time on campus to meet new students as well as pursue blossoming ones knowing that the best way to reach a soul is through genuine care of the individual.

Now, you may ask, why the blog?

And I say to you, ”Allow me to share with you beauty in students’ lives as we pursue hope and happiness in this mission for Christ!”
